Equine Vaccines I Need To Know About Equine Infectuous Anemia?

I need to know about equine infectuous anemia? - equine vaccines

So I want a horse when I'm older. (still a teenager), and I am very, very concerned about the affects of equine infectious anemia. Is there anything I can do to protect my horse against the future? I think there is a vaccine, but please help me with information about the disease and personal stories, thanx!

First, there is no cure. Several times, the horses the same needles for vaccinations, antibiotics, etc. of a horse to another. Usually transmitted by mosquitoes ticks ... The EIA is a viral disease that affects the nervous system. Foals receive from their mothers. The Coggins test is what the EIA tests. Affected horses are often killed or isolated from the rest of their lives. The only way to avoid this moment is to use a needle more than once and do not use more than one horse. This is one of those things that need to manage, if you own a horse. Let no one will prevent you have are the greatest creation of God and can give both pleasure and love! :-)
